In order to improve student organization and quality of work, at the end of every unit each student will have the opportunity to turn in a folder/binder that includes all of the assignments from the unit, in order and completed.
To get extra credit for the folder, all of the assignments for that unit need to be:
1) In order,
2) In the prongs of the folder/or the rings of the binder,
3) And complete.
The folder is due on the day of the test for that unit.
The student’s score on the folder will be averaged with each of the daily assignment grades for that unit. This allows the student to earn back more points for assignments that were not completed on the original due date. In addition, if the folder does not improve the student’s homework grades by at least 15 points, the remainder will be added to the score on the unit test.
