Unit 3 Guideline
Day 1 (Oct 22 & 23) – Partner quiz over unit 2, then 1-9. When everyone is finished with the quiz go over unit 3 objectives. – Assignment PS (1-9)
Day 2 (Oct 24 & 27) – Do PS22 (resource page) with the class to start. There are quite a few drawings and charts on this assignment, so the resource page makes it more efficient. Just solve 11b. by graphing to save some time.

Day 2.5 (Oct 28 & 29) Inequality worksheet odd problems
Day 3 (OCT 30 & Nov 2) – Lots of Geometry vocabulary starting today. Hand out the resource page PS33 at the beginning of class…students need to bring this daily as it will be used through out the unit like a toolkit.– Assignment PS (25-44)
Day 4 (Nov 3 & 4) –Do PS46 as a class. Students should be asking teacher if they got BP47 correct. Summarize two parallel lines cut by a transversal before the end of the class, and all the angle relationships – Assignment PS (45-60)
Day 5 (Nov 5 & 6) – For PS69, students should refer back to PS47 in their book since many will not have their resource pages anymore – Assignment PS (61-77)
Day 6 (Nov 9 & 10) – Teach graphing linear inequalities OR have students do PS78-81. Have students use different graph papers for 83 and 84 to avoid confusion. About 30-45 minutes into class, hand out construction paper and do PS92 together – Assignment PS (82-96)
Day 7 (Nov 11 & 16) – Quick lecture on remote interior & exterior angles of triangles – Assignment PS (97-112)
Day 8 (Nov 17 & 18) – Start off class with students going to the board doing summary type problems, then do summary and review – Assignment PS (113-122)
Day 9 (Nov 19 & 20) – Team Test… then review if time – Assignment Review
Day 10 (Nov 23 & 24) – DPSA MA-GM-02 – Start SV after dspa

Remember: To avoid a zero, complete EVERY problem on each assignment. If you cannot do a problem, explain what is stopping you from completing it, and what you have tried.
